Grey snapper were the main story — and the night trips were the better bite.

Grey snapper — also called mangrove snapper — were the main story aboard Gulfstream in June. We fished three days a week, running both a daytime and a nighttime trip on those days, and the night trips were the more productive of the two.
Toppino held abundant greys and was the standout spot for the month. Running daytime and nighttime trips on the same days gave us a direct comparison: while we caught fish during the day, the stronger grey snapper action came after dark.
For guests choosing between the two trips, nighttime fishing offered the better opportunity to get into the grey snapper bite that month.
