July 2026 — One of the keepers that came over the rail. We ran a daytime trip and a night trip on each fishing day that month, and the night trips were the better bite.

July kept the grey snapper fishing going strong, with abundant fish holding at Toppino. We kept the same summer schedule — three days a week, with a daytime trip and a night trip on each of those days.

The night trips again outperformed the daytime trips. Grey snapper were the highlight of our summer fishing, and July gave us more of the productive after-dark action we had seen in June.

These two months are a good example of why we offer summer night fishing. Same boat and the same local waters, but a different bite once the sun goes down — and this summer, the greys made the late nights worthwhile.
